One of the great things I've noticed here on the RRF is how some members help other members learn things, fix things, and in some cases, aquire things.
I remember when Jake got his RM re-issue last Christmas that he had wanted for a long time.
Well, I want to say
THANK YOU COLLIN for helping me get the guitar that I have wanted for as long as I can remember and could never line up the finances and be able to find one at the same time. It's a rare one!
I now have my "Holy Grail" guitar and it wouldn't have happened without this forum and Collin who I met in person at some of the So Cal Ric events and saw at the recent LA Guitar Show in Costa Mesa.
My suggestions to you all.............try and meet your fellow forumites when you can and good things come to those who wait.
Say hello to my little friend, a 1965 365OS....

Dan---you are most welcome my friend!
I will miss the heck out of that guitar, but my time owning it had to come to an end, and I couldn't be happier it's not only staying local, but going to a good guy who's been seeking for "THE guitar" for a long time. It's a beaut, Have fun with it, cheers!

PS....you guys are right, there is nothing like selling a guitar locally to somebody you know--it beats the heck out of shipping some expensive guitar a long distance (overseas even) never to be seen again, not to mention the logistical risks involved.

Congrats, Dan! You're a happy camper, aren't you?
Collin-- You might be neck and neck with Kevin Kuney for being a class act! What are you gonna do with the money?
