I took my May '08 4003 to the studio to document today. Pardon some dust, tough to totally get rid of without extensive Photoshopping.

It is one of the prettest out there!
When are you going to knock a tooth out of it's tail?
Eden.

That and a little CB and you have a super v60-something! Possibly one of the most tasteful customisations I've seen.

I don't get the meaning of this phrase
But those are beautiful photos, Jeff. What rig did you use?

Kira, the tailpiece on the left is a '60s one; notice the cutout in the middle "tooth". That is what we are talking about.
Rig? Exactly what rig are you referring to?
Oh, you mean what camera setup I used?
Canon 30D with a 24-105/4 IS L series lens on a Gitzo 224 with a Really Right Stuff BH-40 LR II ballhead. The lighting is some very old 16" Smith-Victor scoops with 1000w 3200ยบ lamps in them and Softspun diffusers in front of them.

I suppose it would help to add the photo in question, eh?

Jeff,
Love the angled chrome shot with the highlights on the magnet. (2nd photo 2nd batch) Great depth of field. Stopped down pretty far?

Oh, thanks, Jeff. I thought I was just slipping further towards senility.

That looks cool with the little gap. The "scoop" is shallower, too, I notice.
Hey, are those 'shoes functional?

0.4 seconds @ f22. 72mm effective focal length. If I had the $$$ I would but all the Canon TS lenses as I would have liked a lot more DOF than I got. When I do my art or HABS/HAER photography I use my Ebony 45SU with various Rodenstock and Schneider lenses, then I get
lots of DOF! f128, anyone, with tilts/swings?
