Hi guys, from what I understand Ric used to swap TRCs for whatever colour you wanted.. Are they still doing this? Got a hankering for gold!

From what I understand, the trade 'situ is

SAME for SAME


so....if you had a broken white plexi, you could trade (with $$) for an unbroken same white plexi. Gold for Gold, Raised Letter for Raised Letter etc.

If you have a raised letter TRC, you could send it to Tony at Pickguardian http://www.pickguardian.com and he can paint it gold, to match the gold Ric Pickguards he offers. He can't paint a Plexi version though.

Yhe best thing to do would be to contact RIC Customer Service and inquire.

I understand Pickguardian does a great job refinishing white TRCs.

If you emailed them, it's possible it got caught in their spam filter. Try calling them.

i was about to respond,but kenny beat me to it......i had just enquired about this and found out no plexi gold exchange for other than the same.....i am going the gold paint and black sharpie route on my cii trc...a friend of mine who does a lot of model building is going to finish it out .....stay tuned for results later this week.....
