Enough playing along to warrant keeping this going for a while.
This track was credited to a group who later went on to have some success, however not with the person who sang lead on this track, he actually went on to bigger and better things.
Who Is the Lead Singer, bonus point if you can get the group.

Roy: I have sent in my guess. Your guess, naturally, would be better than mine but I have had good fun with this one.

Kent
I bet that was released after he achieved fame I do not think he was given top billing initially in Tokens in fact an elemnet of changing name again prior to the recording deal they were called the Linc-Tones.

Is this the same Tokens who had a hit with "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" (Wimoweh)? And was it Neil Sedaka on that record?

Roy is (of course) correct about that album.... as explained here:
http://www.history-of-rock.com/neil_sedaka.htm
"
When it came the Linc-Tones time to record he sang lead on the ballad "While I Dream" with Hank Medress singing lead on the rocker, "I Love My Baby." Both songs were written by Sedaka/Greenfield. Upon issuance Melba changed the group's name to the Tokens."
The Tokens
Brooklyn turned out so many great group harmony legends its hard to name them all. And one of the great innovative groups were the Tokens. They touched so many songs and artists it would take pages to cover them all. They stand out as one of the most prolific groups of all time. Coming out of Abraham Lincoln High School in the Brighton Beach section, it all started in 1955 when a senior named Neil Sedaka (yup - THE Neil Sedaka) asked a junior named Jay Siegel to join his singing group - then called the Linc-Tones. The Linc-Tones were Sedaka, Eddie Rabkin, Cynthia Zolotin and Hank Medress. Siegel replaced Rabkin. Its Neil Sedaka singing on the Tokens record While I Dream for Morty Craft's Melba Records. Siegel would join the group to sing on subsequent Sedaka-Tokens' records like Lover Lips and Right or Wrong. The group did some performance including doing Lover Lips on the Ted Steele television program. Jay recalls being so scared that he "almost turned white."

Thanks Kent but I have been educated by a couple of people on latest NF clip and proves, as we all know that some sources on net, trusted too,are not always correct.
