Yes, a very good price.
It's a post war probably late 40s.
I will buy this instrument if you don't want it.

Thanks for the headsup on that.
I've started a dialog, but I'm not sure everything is on the up and up.
The postwar frypans are much less common than the prewar ones. There not really any better but definitely very uncommon.
I'll let you know how it goes.

Fagedabaddit. You did just fine. Play it and treasure it.
I'm a collector/plunker. You bought the real thing. I have four prewar frypans and no postwar examples. In fact I've never even seen one except on Ebay. I just want a postwar frypan to add to the already too heavy collection. That's just me. Please enjoy that frypan you just acquired. Hopefully, that will be satisfying enough for you. Collecting can become a disease, albeit a satisfying one.

hmmm..How does he know there were 2700 made? I believe I have the same model. Mine has a stamp of 00045 but I believe it's from 1938.

You're right. No one knows for sure.
It could have been made almost anytime from "33 up to whenever they stopped production during WW2.
