So just trying again... Any interest in a meet and greet in Toronto in June?

Perhaps just at a pub even for a drink?

Well that's three of us in Hamilton and area anyway! We could always go rent Lou's rehearsal space for 4 hours (that's about $60)... It comes with amps, mikes and a PA system and no one will mind if we rock out with the volume on 11 for a bit...

I am doing a theatre production until the third week in May, my life will be much less complicated then... :-) So anytime after that is good for me...

I'm in as well. A Toronto get-together would be good, but if it has to be "The Hammer", so be it. :)

When is the guitar show Stuart? That might be a good weekend for it...

I attended that particular guitar show a few years ago and it was fairly small - a bit surprising given the size of the GTA and surrounding populations. A quick internet search shows the 2007 show as the last one - it doesn't look like it took place in 2008 - so a 2009 show might be a bit doubtful.

Could we meet in the middle? Say, Oakville or Burlington? Anyone know of any rehearsal spaces in these communities?

That being said, I'm in for a get together where-ever. I'd certainly be in for a small session at Lou's.

Should we be thinking of a song list?

That's really good idea... WE should come up with a group of say 5 or 6 songs to learn ahead of time....

I can play Beatles, Byrds most British invasion, plus some 80's new wave like Squeeze, Tom Petty, XTC...

Anyone have a favorite song to pitch?

Ok... The Who.

I can do: I CAN'T EXPLAIN, SUBSTITUTE, or I CAN SEE FOR MILES... All classic who tunes..

Ok... Just looking at the calander here.... How does Saturday June the 6th sound to everyone? Say late afternoon... so that after jamming for a bit we can go grab beer and chicken wings somewhere afterwards...
