Rick 650 vs STrat

I had a VOX ADT50 amp for sale. Guy turns up with some cheapie MIM Fender to check it out.
He did the usual histrionics, till I showed him how the amp worked..
He said the usual: I'll get back to you, after speaking to the little lady.
One day later, he's back on the phone, wants to buy, shows up with his Stevie Ray Vaugn strat. Tries a few things. He's happy. I could close the deal and FUGGEDIBOUDIT at this point if I wanted to,
Then I suggest he try something different like my 650 and then my 330 MG.
Well, he's wowed as to how well the RICs play. Buys the amp, but with a certain look in his eye
But I'm feeling generous this week. So I call him back about 4 hours later and suggest he drop by my place on Sunday to do a guitar set-up.
I'm the first guy in the world to admit that I will never be a star player, but as long as I can help folks, that's what I will do.
We may yet have a Ric jamp group (or at least another convert) some time next year.
