Rickenbacker tech 12 string

I may have to get someone that knows about Rickenbacker 12s to look at it any suggestions on a luthier in the south or on the east coast?

Depending on what you need done you could talk to Chris Clayton at POTR.

Im not sure yet, the guitar is on the way, was missing the truss nuts It may need a whole truss system installed and adjustments?
wheres and whos POTR?

Chris can certainly do that. POTR is

well I got here strung and she bowlegged (more on the bass side) so I slowly tightened the truss rods back up and heated up the neck with a hairdryer and left it setting with some weight on the neck hopefully it will straighten out...if not I guess it will be going to a pro..
I think its been without tension for way too long

"Slowly tightening the truss rods" is done over days, not in one sitting a bit at a time. Ease 'em off a bit and get the weight off it. Check it in a few days, tighten a bit more, wait, check again, repeat as necessary.
You're rushing it this way...

I think Im going to take it to a luthier here in town and get him to do it Im scared Im going to pop the finger board off goofing around...

I detuned it and left it alone.
I really dont want to ship this guitar because I dont have a hard case, but I may have to end up sending it to a Rickenbacker repairman.
