Depends on the year, depends on the color.

That's book's production totals are apocryphal at best, but you still have a cool rare bass. Try the "appraisal" section.

hahaha, Well getting technical... I did not cut the PG, that was done by the opal-translucent plexi supplier guy, I did drill all the holes (with a Una-bit) though. The piece of plexi looks fairly decent and very Ricky.
I'd a been frozen in my tracks without the gracious help of JPS and his PG tracing that was mailed to me! I owe the brutha some lunch!
The 6 point 5 control harness I got from POTR, I soldered two of the 6 joints that needed attention. (my humble little iron couldn't handle the entire task)

brought it over to a friend with a real iron, and then added a few more knobs I had laying around and mounted the sucker.
Overall, the overall job is probably an 8 on a 10 getting ultra-micro, but it needed to be done as the 2 knob version was good for someone without the patience to dial in something form fitting. There is now quite an array of sounds at my fingertips. I don't know how the poor sod that owned it previously went for so long without all the color

to each his/her own.
I have to admit the next day at breakfast, I had the bass on the stand next to me!!

That's probably why he sold it!
"Damn. This thing's just a one trick pony. Can't seem to get decent tone from it either. Must...sell!"
