Lovely. After a not especially wonderful day, that put a huge smile on my face. Thanks for posting this!

This was posted once before (I think it was on this forum), but it's nice to see it again. Thanks, Kira. I know how the guy feels. Christmas '84 comes to mind.

I just thought this vid had universal appeal. What a classic! You couldn't have staged it any better. And who around here could fail to identify with it? We all wish we were Dave!

It reminded me a lot of October 4th, 2001 - our 15th wedding anniversary. My lovely wife presented me with a single red rose, and the three immortal words: "Order your Rickenbacker".
My long-awaited, carefully saved-for, much talked about, hugely anticipated 650D was on its way minutes later

Before or after you two "celebrated" the anniversary?

Modesty prevents me from answering that question with any specificity.
Suffice it to say that this year will be #23 for the wedding anniversary, and #8 for the 650D. Both still going strong.

Ya know Kira, out of all of the McGuinn covers I've seen on YouTube, this guy, David Whitt does the best. Once in a while he posts on the Byrdmaniax Yahoo group.
