Thassa lotta scratch for a working amp; methinks it's aimed at Weller and Marshall collectors. 50 sounds about right; they'll sell 48 in Japan. Maybe two more to target shooters.
But I've got a VOX AD30-VT, PW Edition. Cost about $220.00 plus a leftover scrap of old grille cloth:

I've always found Wellers guitar sound on his solo work to be disappointing, muddy and weak.
At £1000 a pop, I don't think I'll be knocking on the door for one of these.
I'd rather buy a Vox AC30CC2XH for £800 and give the spare £200 to ChildLine.

That is nice, but I'd choose a Vox AC-30HW or Fender Deluxe Reverb '65 over this.
I like Marshall vintage reissue tube models, don't get me wrong (such as JTM 45 stack, Bluesbreaker combo), but modern Marshalls (especially the Solid-States) do NOT impress me.
