Charmed life indeed, except for the fact that the house still has an unsecured window that a child could fall out of.

The first story I read said that CPS were addressing the issue of the unsecured window. :)

At first I thought I had missed a local story. Sometimes I forget that there's a Lawrence, Massachusetts, too. Interesting story, though.

Shades of the Conor Clapton tragedy.

Open windows that are accessible to toddlers are scary even if they are ony a few feet off the ground. This child was one of the very few lucky ones who survived a fall of this type. I can only imagine the panic that the father felt when he realised what had happened.

This story can be put to good use, as it may serve as a reminder to analyse your home for potential hazards such as this. Especially if you are not used to having small children around.
