Jasco Stripper

I have a bare hulk of a 1991 4003MG that I'm going to strip and prepare for a finish as a project before I ship it off to Paul W to undo all of my mistakes during this process.
I want to get this down to the bare wood, so I'm thinking of using my fall back stripper, Jasco paste, which I've used before when I've been doing vintage Harley restorations. It seems to be fine on wood.
Has anyone else used this paste, or is there any other chemical stripper you would recommend for the job ? As it's an MG, I'm guessing it just has clearcoat over sealer, but I'm ready to be told I'm wrong here. I'm intending to rough up the bass a little with an 80 grit to put a little something for the paste to nestle into, then cover it with a good application of the paste and then throw the whole bass into a garbage bag. I will test the garbage bag first to see if it can stand the Jasco, else my next step might be posting how to strip a garbage bag off a 4003.
I will then go into the back yard and scream, because I always manage to get this stuff on me somewhere and it stings like an MF.....
If it works, would you use water or a 0000 steel wool to get most of the gunk off ?
