i've got a '66 toaster that needs some work. to be period correct, what K should it be wound to?

I think the one on my 64 is just over 7ish... Sergio is probably the guy you need to speak to!

7.4k seems to have been the target back then.
The 64 I have is 7.4k the two 65's on a 1997 are 7.1k & 7.5k.

Yup, like Gerry says, anything between 7-7.5k should be accurate...

Make sure its 44 gauge wire also.
