Nice, Richard! Some of my favorite photography I like to do is rivers, primarily waterfalls, cascades, etc.
I am sure you have seen this one:

You should come up to Cleveland sometime, I'll take you to some great places around here
Re: Somewhere between JWilli & Wittyair
My brother just emailed this photo he took while driving up the Wear valley ( North east of England) , the waterfall is called High Force
Re: Somewhere between JWilli & Wittyair
Wow! That is an amazing waterfall!
Re: Somewhere between JWilli & Wittyair

Here we are Snoqualmie falls
Re: Somewhere between JWilli & Wittyair
Nice, but High Force has a much more interesting and impressive surrounding landscape to go with it.
The tallest waterfalls I have seen are some of the falls that appear within Yosemite Valley during Spring. Of course, Yosemite Falls itself is 2420' high, and quite interesting in the way it is broken up into three sections, not to mention that it had been rerouted a very long time ago; you can still see the original path it took.
