Anyone tried a Status neck?

Status makes graphite necks for 4-string J, P, and Stingray basses and 5-string Stingrays as well. Has anyone messed with these and found them to be up to par with wood?

I can think of a couple of people who'd agree with me. All I'm saying is, they've pulled it off very nicely with cellos, upright basses, some electric basses*... why not a Ric? And I did notice that JH had his interest piqued by this idea one time when it was brought up on the corporate forum. It'd probably be pretty easy to play on for long periods too, with the light weight of the material (in spite of its strength).sloop_john_b wrote:That makes one...cassius987 wrote: I'd buy one.

*I played a Modulus made of graphite once and no one can talk trash about that bass--it was killer. If I had the cash I would have picked it up. The tone was a lot more "alive" than you would expect.
