Does the extra pickup make that much difference, and if so has anyone on here mixed toasters with higains?
Does it give you much more in the range of tones?
Cheers.

Rob.

I mixed toasters, hi-gains, and an HB-1 on my 330(not 340 I know)but really didn't get such a great variety. I even tried wiring the HB-1 in many different ways, but still didn't acheive anything that was worth the effort. I have 2 toasters on it now, and even though the neck pickup by itself is a dog, the 2 blend nice and the bridge sounds really good. I have some of the new hi-gains coming, (since I've never been one to leave good enough alone), so I'll have a comparison on your desk by monday sir!

I wondered if it was worth the effort, and it would appear probably not.
Thanks Mike.

320 owner says I'd like to try a toaster in the neck position, but no complaints to speak of and its fifth knob mod gives it 7 switching options. I find the three pickup setup to be useful and looks great too. Lots of sounds and the older hi-gains are screamers. 8) I especially prefer the three-pickup model guitars.

I have 2 370's, and I can get very close to the slightly-out-of-phase "Strat" sound (positions 2 & 4), which I can't get on my 360 or 330.
