Anyone know a source for correct Ric dot inlay material? I'm assuming its sold in rods/dowels.

Are you talking about neck dots or fretboard dots? Both types of dots can be purchased from Stew-Mac or from LMI (Luthiers' Mercantile Int'l).

The fretboard dots can also be punched out of sheet ABS with a Whitney hand punch, if you've got one...

Sorry for not being clear. I meant fretboard. (I use red pencil for side dots) What's the exact size Paul? I have a leather working punch, which is hardened steel, and I suppose that would work. Thanks.

Depends on the exact guitar, but 3/16" (.187) for most.

Awesome. Thanks Paul. I'm doing a build that will bend some minds. :-)
