First Gretsch I've had since my White Falcon, about five years ago. (Never should have sold it). Like everything about this CC. Width and all. Sweet tone. Might have preferred the Filtertrons, but can live with the Dyno's.

That's sweet, Stan. I love the color. Nobody does ostentatious like Gretsch.

So true, Kira. Nobody does garish like a Gretsch. Gotta love it. Least I do.

I'm warming up to them. They mostly seem a bit outspoken for my style, maybe a bit too mannish. But just like going to the circus, they're sure fun to watch. Maybe one day I'll find a shabby little humble Gretsch that would suit me

I'm green, Stan. Love those Dyna CCs...

That's one of the Gretsch models I'd love to have, only with a Bigsby, so I could steal all those great little Chet licks.

This is the Chet one, Jim, a 6122-1959. Special pickups, sealed body, slightly wider fretboard.

On second thought, the only thing that bugs me about that guitar is the fake f holes. I've played this one (G6120 Chet Atkins).



The neck profile was quite similar to my S.L. Mossman acoustic.
