You know fair enough if people want to make this kind of thing because after all im all for advancement and furthering the boundaries but for goodness sake its not as if it sounds good does it.

Besides being ascetically pleasing

, I could only listen to about ten seconds of it.

I think it COULD sounds really cool as a background drone of some time.
Needs work though.

Actually, he needs to add an automated plucking mechanism. I think most of the bad intonation is due to poor timing between the guy plucking the strings and the servo mechanism to adjust the string tension.
I'm not sure I'd want to be near that thing if he tried to play some high notes "way up the neck" though...

A couple other thoughts:
1. I wonder whether a "thin shell" lacquer finish would affect the sound.
2. When does the "relic" version hit the stores?

That works.
I kinda like the sound, at least on that track; pleasing background music.
It looks expensive to build though, and troubleshooting problems, as well as taking the thing in for a setup, looks like it would cost a fortune.
We also now know what happen to the props from "Ghostbusters".

I played that song on a MIDI keyboard once when I was four years old. I called it "Dinky Dinosaur".

Why a 2 minute demo? 10 seconds would have been enough............
I was waiting for something spectacular, but alas........

It's a common syndrome called, "tech geek loses sight of the big picture, spends too much time with titanium pulleys and military-spec DC servos".
