Wow, what a tour de force. He played almost three hours, including three encores!
It was the most awesome musical spectacle I have ever seen, and I've seen a few in my life.
No 4001 though... Just the Hofner, a Gibson, and a Ukelele George gave him.

Ben, i was fortunate enough to see Macca live at the M.C.G in Melbourne back in '93. He was spectacular then, so i can only imagine how good he is now!
3 hours ?? Awesome!

Read a review yesterday, the writter seemed just as happy abt the show as you Ben. I saw him at Radio City two weeks ago. I'd say he's just abt ready to hit the road again. I would have loved to have seen the The Fireman stuff! Love that CD

Very cool!
Lightweight thinline McCartney 4001 model for live work maybe?

...just what you need, another ding dong offering suggestions.

In any case, I jest. Thanks for filling us in.

No one could believe how much energy he had. It was 2am before we got out of the place! When "Live and Let Die" started the stage exploded with pyrotechnics and I thought for sure it was the finale. Nope! He leaves the stage, comes back two minutes later, and BAM! "Hey Jude"
The only Rick I saw was in the hands of Franz Ferdinand's bass player...
