Here's what's on the Register, 3 of the entries have pics. The one from 1987 is a reissue.

I'd consider selling but I'm probably asking too much. I've posted it for sale a couple of times here in the last few years.

For it's age it's in vgc to ex cond. ie you could use it onstage as is.

It's one of those items that is hard to price because they rarely come up for sale. Dealer asking prices seem to vary, but around $6K Of course, that is dealer's prices. I would imagine street price to be considerably lower, in the $4-5K range.

Also depends on the year, # of pickups, and condition, of course.

I think the Rose Morris series were the best guitars Rickenbacker ever made...a 1997SPC is my main stage axe.

As to thoughts on prices and values -- when was the last time you saw one of these for sale in a "public" setting? If there was an open auction on ebay for a 60's era 1997/1998 in decent condition, I expect you would see the bidding get pretty heady and possibly downright irrational. They are scarce and desirable, so IMO market pricing is extremely hard to judge.

That said, probably the best place to acquire one is right here on this forum.

I'm gonna have to agree with your implication, there Wes. The RM series are no different in feel/sound/play to any non F-hole 60s Ric, and I'm saying this as an RM owner! I'd have to go with any sixties deluxe model hollowbody (365 etc..) as the best, in that they have more features than a standard Ric. This would be a topic for another thread, I'm sure.

But....RoMo's are certainly the coolest in my book.
