Does anyone have any idea the thickness of the laminate fretboard on a modern Rick?
Is it flat on the back and a 10" radius on the fretboard side?
Just wondering

I thought someone would know this.
I only have a bound neck 360 but I'm assuming that the fretboard would be approximately the thickness of the other necks that are unbound on other models.

They're the same--nominally 5/16" at the center of the crown. But they're is some variance, and most are slightly less.

I think in the late 70's and early 80's guitars, particularly 450's, had a much thicker fretboard than all others I've seen. It actually curves back towards the back of the neck.

jason i right - those 70's and early 80's unbound fretboards are thicker than earlier or later ones it is like 3/8 at the crown of some of my beloved 450 from 70's and 80's on the other hand my 70' 450 has very thin fingerboard and my 63 425 has it even thicker than 80's 450. so it is rather variable...
