I'm playing at the Lawrence Farmers' Market May 2, 7:00-11:00 AM in the parking lot at 804 New Hampshire St., downtown Lawrence, KS.

And for any forumites within reasonable driving distance, there's the monthly Lawrence Song Writers' Circle at the Americana Music Academy, 1419 Massachusetts St., Saturday, May 2 from 7:00-11:00 PM. Bring your acoustic instrument and some original songs. I'll be there.

No. Farmers' Market is strictly acoustic. And I'm better known as a fiddler here in Lawrence, than I am as a guitar playing singer/song writer. The added advantage is that a fiddle is small, light, very portable, and requires no amplification. And there aren't any electrical outlets at the market site, either.

Song Writers' Circle also is strictly acoustic for practical reasons of space (it's very small).
