Can the vintage style white truss rod covers be adjusted to fit on a 330/360?
I am told that the vintage cover screw holes will not quite line up right on a 330/360 head stock.

Re: Truss rod cover swap
It's not quite that simple; depending upon the year and model, and the particular TRC, you may get lucky and you may not.
But, it's a simple matter to plug the two holes by the nut and carefully re-drill them. And the newer vintage style TRC is larger than the raised-letter types and generally will cover the old outboard hole in the tip, so I either fill the hole if I'm refinishing the guitar or bass, or I just leave it under the guard and drill a fresh one.

The modern TRC will cover the new hole near the tip if you decide to go back to the original TRC.
