All of the anonymous (non-famous) faces on that site (sorry, Jeremy) are supposedly from the NYC area, according to another site, as the character that runs the site is from Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Williamsburg is supposedly the Hipster Capital, although you will see this conservative dress sense in areas of LA and SF. If you dress like these folks in SF and are travelling in a group of, say, less than a dozen, you will get pounded, though, in parts of the city.
