So I saved that pic of Scotty's MidnNight Blue 360:
And I kept going into my Pics and looking at those 08' fretboard markers. So I start calling around to see whose got an 08' JG.
I found this place a little less than an hour from me called Bill's Music.

Man they got alot of Ricks. So I'm talking to the sales guy and told him I had a 07' 360 but was tempted to buy an 08' JG if I found the right one. Geez, he took me to their warehouse and let me open a bunch of new 360 JG's and play them and I found a real nice one.
Well I bought one and drove home real happy. I didn't really need another Rick 360 JG so I called a friend of mine and he bought my 07'. I just dropped that off.
Crazy, maybe, but I really like those new Fretboard markers and I'll be throwing on a couple toaster covers, like my 07'

So, Kevin, the 8 footer is a foot longer than the 7 footer?

The 8 footer is off the charts.........
The Fretboard markers are at least 1/
8" wider

I'm in the process of switching the tuners to vintage and then on to the Toaster covers.
Here's where I am as of late last night after cutting down the finish to smooth out the Schaller bushing rings.
Polished the headstock out down to 8000 grit and then scatch X and Zymol to bring back the luster.
Set the vintage bushings in last night - today I'll install the vintage tuners.
With the 60's size/shape fretboard markers it will look pretty cool.

Alrighty then...
Got those vintage tuners on the 08' (that's 8 footer for Paul W.

) :

Took the back of the headstock with no flash to try to get a no glare shot
The vintage way is to go with the arch of the headstock sides:
On to the pickups.....
