How about all you folks who live in the Michigan area hosting a confluence? I already took care of the hard part, the name!

I think that "just a little down-in-the-mouth" would be acceptable.

That comment is wrong on many levels.

I'm sure most people, when they see all the beautiful Rick instruments, will feel a little blue about not having every one of them for themselves...

Hmm, doesn't look familiar...

More Hmmm, "Embedding disabled by request"...

Well, I'm probably too old, it's been a long time since I've been classified with "children"...

Not that I don't act childish from time to time, especially when it comes to my Ricks...

Just a little song from my youth - didn't work, UK publishing I guess.

It's about a cartoon baby elephant from 1976 who takes his mummy's fountain pen into the bath with him, breaks it and gets the ink all over him, and from then on he is known as "Little Blue"...I thought that the sixties were the druggy decade?

It's a double edged sword...the beauty of the get-togethers is you can see and play all sorts of neat unobtanium. The bad part is the RAS that results...particularly dangerous at MARF, when there's a whole room of Ricks just waiting for a loving home.

I attended my first MARF this year...started the day with my 3 basses...

ended the day with my 3 basses...

and a 330AFG

At MARF II I started the day with 5 Ricks and came home with 6! A 730/12L, now in the loving hands of Russ Rubman.

Why would anyone want to come to Michigan? :?

Other than the economy, MI is great.

Unfortunately, even the people around here seem shocked when outsiders come in and think it's wonderful.

I blame years of blight on a once (and still in many ways) proud city of Detroit.
