Well, I prefer a bit less lipstick on male pop icons, but what do I know...10,000 screaming adolescent girls can't be wrong:

Oh....those aren't girls?

I have somehow managed to avoid viewing an entire KISS number until today. Thanks, Dane.

If you close your eyes (best way to view KISS), the vocals are identical to a C- cover of a Tom Jones Vegas tune.

Somewhere between hilarious and pathetic. Yes, 10,000 teenage girls CAN be wrong.

Gene Simmons -- Did his chest grow hands at 2:19? Were they trying to clap their little selves together?

Kira: Bovine thrust? Think: Stegosaurus.

PS Gene-o reminds me of Dick Cheney. Is that weird or what?

I agree with you completely, Tony...Santeri Ojala ('StSanders') is the king of this particular art form, and he's only getting better at it over time. I do appreciate the Kiss/Astley mash-up for it's careful attention to detail and the astonishing amount of time that must have gone into it, but nothing beats the sheer 'dada' of Ojala's "I Will Never Go To School"...hard for me to say what my favorite moment is, but when they launch into the theme from Dallas and Paul Stanley jumps up an octave into that insane falsetto, I find myself having to run to the nearest window for enough fresh oxygen to keep from passing out.

"Where's the camera? Oh, my..."

I agree. Perfection is in the details of this one. Terrific editing job. God, I still can't stop laughing.

Those shred vids are pretty good. Unfortunately YouTube gets rid of them quite often.

I guess I am in the minority in that I love early KISS.

Fortunately, Phlem', minority rights are respected here at the forum...and to show you that I'm not just mean-spiritedly gunnin' for the Mascara Monsters, how's about a video that features a second verse 'shout-out' to the afore-mashed-up Rick A.- the always-entertaining Mojo Nixon (with cameo appearance by Winona Ryder as Debbie G.):
