Hey everyone,
With ORAC '09 just a few weeks away, it would be great to get a feel for the headcount. Here are the folks who have expressed an interest so far:

Brian Morton
Joe Capadocia
Dean Steglia
Richard Horbatiuk
Greg Howley
Bill Hughley
Dave McDonald
Mick Kern
Steve Gray

There will also be myself, and our host Craig Collett who will probably invite a few others as well. If you are planning on attending but not listed above, it would be greatly appreciated if you could please post in this thread.
Further details can be found in the previous ORAC thread, and there will be other announcements as we get closer to the actual date.
Thanks!

Details are all on this thread here... http://www.rickresource.com/phpBB3/view ... 5&t=388089

Coll Audio in Scarborough starts at 1 and goes till... 10? There is a map on their website which is here.. http://www.collaudio.com/

The whole point of coming though is to borrow someone elses RIC and see what sounds you like! Other then the obvious human desire to put a face behind all of the names we see here! Besides if you don't come along, then it will just be lots of "middle aged guys with guitars".. Hey that's a song from Canuck folkie Joe Hall as I recall...

Brian,

I'm starting to feel like the token female. I got to go to Vancouver in March to tour the Larrivee factory and I was the only female player in the bunch with the lots of middle aged guys with guitars! LOL

Lynda, don't worry, I know Steve and Dean are true gentlemen. I can't vouch for the rest of the cohorts, but from the Rick get-togethers I've attended, you will have a great time of camaraderie and music. I wish I'd gotten a visa....

A visa card? To but a plane ticket with? No visas required to get into Canada for folks in North America...

"Canadian law requires that all persons entering Canada carry both proof of citizenship and proof of identity. A valid U.S. passport, passport card or NEXUS card (see below) satisfies these requirements for U.S. citizens. If U.S. citizen travelers to Canada do not have a passport, passport card or approved alternate document such as a NEXUS card, they must show a government-issued photo ID (e.g. Driver’s License) and proof of U.S. citizenship such as a U.S. birth certificate, naturalization certificate, or expired U.S. passport."

Huh, I thought we now needed passports.

Just the other way round. Canadians now need a passport to enter the US by AIR... A result of 9/11. I can still use my drivers license to drive to Buffalo currently, but that will soon change...

To get back into the US, you probably will.

Radio announcements here in Montreal indicate for US citizens one of the three is required to get back into the US as of June 1 (they'll let you out for free. ).

In Quebec, we have had the option of a passport card addition to our drivers license (for an extra $50 of course) for a few months now. Of course, a valid passport is always accepted.

I'm coming along with one other fellow - Paul Asselin. He lurks here from time to time but is a Rick enthusiast. He'll be bringing his new 370/6 FG. I'm coming with my 360 Blueburst. And don't worry Lynda, I live with a wife and two teenage daughters. I've got enough sensitive side to go around and keep you company!
