Somehow or other, over the course of the last 8 years or so, I seem to have managed to crawl my way to the minor milestone that is 500 posts. Now I realize that this is a trivial feat in the wake of many who contribute much more voluminously - but this remains one of my favourite places in cyberspace, and while I might not have much to say, I read and learn a lot. I aspire to more Rickenbackers in my collection, but right now remain utterly besotted with the 650D I do own. All in good time...
If it takes me another 8 years to make it to 1000, so be it. I'll still be here, and so will my 650D
Eeyore, the old grey Donkey, stood by the side of the stream, and looked at himself in the water. "Pathetic," he said. "That's what it is. Pathetic."
He turned and walked slowly down the stream for twenty yards, splashed across it, and walked slowly back on the other side. Then he looked at himself in the water again.
"As I thought," he said. "No better from this side. But nobody minds. Nobody cares. Pathetic, that's what it is."
