It was more Pickguardianed before. I had a "signature edtion" pickguard on it, but cracked it badly when the bass fell over during a precarious photo session. Stupid me. I put the original back on. One of these days I'll replace it (again). Here's a shot before the incident:

Yeah, I should have gotten a Monty when I could have. Paul did you paint that TRC?

Looks good if you did.

Nice pics Paul. I like the the way the Monty Brown looks with the gold pickguard.

The custom pickguards are a nice touch to an already stunning instrument. Nice one, two, three....

For those of you who are now missing posts I have cleaned up the this thread up by removing the comments pertaining to a certain part of a dogs anatomy. Given your tenure here, I don't believe that I need to remind any of the posters on this thread about what does and does not constitute a violation of the few rules that have been established on the RRF.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

Well, well, well. Here it is, June 1 and I flip the page on my calendar... Lo and behold! A trio of beautiful Rick Basses, just like the picture above! I really like this RRF Calendar.

I have no idea what this has to do with dog's anatomy, but I'm sure I'm better off not knowing...

Scott, Tony at Pickguardian repainted the stock TRC when he made the "signature edition" pickguard so the gold would match. I take it he does that a lot.
