Found dead in Thailand. He was one of the more enigmatic actors onscreen. Always fun to watch and a great villain.

A HUGE fan of Kung Fu and Bound For Glory, I happened upon David as I was monitoring a Dressage competition at Burbank Equstrian Center maybe 15 years ago. For some reason, I stood staring as he walked my way. I have been brave before with folks like George Harrison, but I just couldn't say anything at this point. He noticed, chuckled to himself and walked over to me, shook my hand and asked "How's it going". Seemed like a super cool guy. RIP, David.

+3, I guess. My first reaction when I heard the news was suicide....in Thailand?? Hmmmmmm.....
Bound for Glory was one of my favorite movies about one of my favorite songwriters.

I can't see a single premonition of suicide in anything I've read by or about him in recent years.

Going by recent reports, it appears it may have been an attempt at auto eroticism gone wrong.
Seems to be a lot of similarities with the death of Michael Hutchence.
RIP David.

The biggest shock for me was that he was 72 years old.
He just didnt seem that old to me.
