Hi All,

As some of you may know, I've been looking for a lefty 330 for some time now, but being in the UK it's nigh on impossible.

Until now!!

I took delivery of a 2001 Fireglo 330 this morning.God I'm excited!!
Can about completely by chance too, as I have been glued to ebay/craigslist, pestering US shops, calling Rickenbacker etc etc for months, and put my Gibson 335 up for sale on ebay, in the hope of raising funds.

As luck would have it a chap in Denmark saw it on ebay and wanted it.He asked if I wanted to swap if for said Rickenbacker. How cool, so we set about doing the deal, and it's finally arrived today.

It now goes some way to replacing my loss of a 330 Jetglo some 2 yrs ago, when debts forced me to sell to a guy in the US.

Can't wait to get playing it now.

Anyway,just thought I'd share the news, keep your eyes peeled at all times, and little moments of happiness like this can come true.

Congratulations Scott you cant beat the sound of a 330.Im glad it worked out for you.

BTW the max size for a picture is 1200 x 1200 and around 300 kb ... the actual numbers are in a thread somewhere.

I'm over the moon guys.The pics don't do it justice to be honest, but been playing all night, and it sounds fantastic. The neck is great too, feels a bit fatter than my old jetglo 330, but it's nice and light, and in really superb condition, so yep you're right, i'm chuffed. Can't wait to get playing with my band now.

Great story. Congratulations.
I have both (Rickenbacker 330 and Gibson 335) and I'm glad I'm not forced to choose between the two but the 330 would just nick it for me too though.
