I always joke with my son when he gets a bump. I jokingly tell him it won't hurt if we lop it off. I told him next time he stubbed his toe, we could cut it off and make him a little brother! I think he was actually kind of excited about that!

Hmmmm.....Could this be an inventive way of dealing with a major headstock break?
