Tell me this isn't crazy? It also has a speaker most commonly seen in Vox AC-30's.

OK...it isn't crazy. Not as crazy as some of the mods to Ricks we've seen posted here. It's all relative, innit?

Perhaps I used the wrong choice of words. It looks cool, no doubt.

Ah, it may look cool, but how does it sound?

Fender reverb? I'm thinking it sounds pretty darn good--but that color doesn't do much for me.

I think Jake was questioning the Celestion [sp?] blue speaker in the thing. Myself, I'd have to hear it first before I'd make up my mind.

I like Blue things...My AZ Blue Rick might look cool in front of that amp. I think I prefer Fender amps in Blonde though. :D

I've had Celestions in Fenders before, but never an Alnico Blue Celestion. There's one school of thought that says not to mix British speakers with American amps, and vice versa, but I don't necessarily follow that. I had Greenbacks in my Brown Face Blonde Twin and took them out, but have a pair of Vintage 30s in my custom Low Power Twin Reverb.

OK...I'm often a little slow, but it appears to me that the amp in question has a Jensen C-12K, not a Celestion Blue....or am I missing something?

I'm feeling a little nauseous. Awful color for Tolex, except possibly on a combo organ...

I agree with Paul W. That's not a colour that appeals to me on an amp.

.....or a sportcoat. Nyuk, nyuk nyuk. Agree with Paul --- definitely not a tasteful color for Tolex. It's late.....I'm blowin' this popstand. Peace, out.......Goofball.

Meh.....I like it, or at least the idea of it.

You know what I don't like? Seeing 100,000,000 black tolex Fender amps, one after another.....at least I would notice this one!

Change is good.

I like how MF just reused their old description of the basic Deluxe Reverb. It still says "Black vinyl covering".

The ad text description on the MF site says "Jensen C-12K", but that's a generic cut and paste description of the standard Fender Deluxe Reverb amp that MF included in the ad by mistake. The rear view photo clearly shows the amp equipped with a Celestion Alnico Blue speaker. :D

I think the Blue speaker might cause the amp to break up too early for my taste.
