4003FL in the raw

Well, I sat in on a recording a while back using my 4003FL and here it is... it's my friend Kurtis Foster (alto sax)'s material. The first track (Chaos and Chronos) has an odd feel to start with but I love the solos... I even sorta like mine just a little bit! Who'da thunkit. These were all one-takes and I wasn't a big fan of some of my solos so I had them cut out of a few of the pieces.
These tracks are 100% raw with no plugins or anything. We all recorded in the same tiny room together and I just went straight in through my Ashdown head, using my cab as a reference monitor. The drummer and I got the headphones. Unfortunately Kurtis could only afford the studio time necessary to record, not to engineer or edit anything. Slight exception though--some sax layering here and there.
See what you think... if you like it, please leave Kurtis a positive remark. I think he's a really gifted writer. The guitarist and drummer are also fantastic in my opinion.
EDIT: D'oh, links are good. http://www.myspace.com/steamjazzproject
