Does anyone know how much the new Beatles Box Set of 14 recordings is going to be-- and will the Box Set have anything extra that buying the individual CDs will not have?

I haven't seen a U.S. price yet, but Amazon, Canada has the mono set pre-order priced at $289, and the stereo set at $245, Canadian.

I'm buying the stereo box set when it's released, no matter what.
Re: New Remastered Beatles Box Set
Mono for me...then maybe the stereo. I've seen some pre-order stuff on it on various sites and I may have to go for it. If there's a way to sneak it onto a wedding registry, I will.

Mono version pour moi

OK, I guess it's mono a mono. But don't get too monomaniacal about it.

Hi:
Does anyone want to comment on why they want the "mono?"

I hear there are some stereo mixes better than mono ("Helter Skelter"), I hear there are some mono better than stereo ("She's Leaving Home").

The primary reason you'll find the stereo mix better than the mono mix of "Helter Skelter' is because the stereo version is nearly a full minute longer than the mono. Ringo's blistering scream is also absent from the mono copy. The mono version was never released in the U.S.

True, Jake.
I should have clarified. The mono version of the White Album was never released in the States.
