How convenient they had a record player with them when they were shipwrecked. Or did the Professor build them one out of coconut shells and palm fronds?
Cool clip of the group!

Ahhh, another choice relic from the 60's. Let's bring back the fuzzy b/w video, lip-synching, male falsettos and Farfisa organs. And don't forget (2nd clip) the white go-go boots and aerobic jazzercise moves.
Like the Knickerbockers with "Lies" I believe the Castaways with "Liar, Liar" (detect a theme?) were another one-hit-wonder.
Gah!

It looks like a standard 340, but with a weird (Kauffman?) vibrato. Hard to tell.
You can barely see that tailpiece at 1:20. It doesn't look like it's anchored to the end of the body. It kind of looks like an early 450 setup with a string-anchoring comb, except it's between bridge and the guitar bottom(?) Maybe a Gibson-like stop-TP? Yikes!

Such a great garage rocker! Love the 340 in there too!
