Kira has kindly accepted our request to moderate this great new section that will allow you to have a placeholder for your youtube Rickenbacker related videos.

The rules are fairly simple. The posts must be Rickenbacker related in some way, the content must be yours and free from copyright infringement or attracting performance rights royalties and last but not least when in doubt the rules of the forum must always be applied.

Please join me in welcoming Kira to her latest undertaking on this forum. She is a tireless advocate for continuous improvement.

PS. A big thank you goes out to one of our newer members, “Bighouse” Robert Grandmaison for bringing the general need for a section like this to our attention. Thanks Robert.

Thank you for setting up this feature! And thanks for the "thanks" in your postscript. I'm looking forward to not having to leave the RRF website to enjoy videos of our members. I also know, that in my short time of being here, it's a GREAT place and that Kira will make a FANTASTIC moderator of the new feature! She's top-notch!

I will make an announcement in the next day or so on the YT site pointing people to this venue/feature and then disable the YT group shortly thereafter.

Yes, this is great! And thanks, Kira, for offering to moderate it. I liked the idea of the RRF Youtube group, but it really seemed a departure from the rest of the forum. Now we've got a video collection point right here "at home" on the forum! Good job!

Thanks Peter for setting this up. And to Kira for volunteering to moderate it. It really did need to be done. Now...where's that video camera of mine?

Kira, you took to this group like a duck to water, and we've welcomed you with open arms because of your incredible positive attitude and unbridled enthusiasm for life, which shows, too, in your love for music and especially all things Rickenbacker.

But, in the end, it ain't about things, it's about people, and your big heart, with its strengths and vulnerabilities, is what you share with us daily. It's so cool to have RRF running in the background in my office, so I can return to my friends whenever I've got a spare minute or two, and your presence and comments are guaranteed to make me reflect, or simply chuckle and nod in agreement at what you're sharing with us.

Thanks everyone. I am thrilled to have this new forum topic thanks to Robert, Kira and Brian Medway who have all been involved in its creation. It is they who deserve the credit for this effort and I am indebted to them.

Once again we have demonstrated that through sharing of ideas and working together that good things happen.

Perhaps I will find a Rickenbacker connection that allows me to post a sax solo one day and keep within the rules.

I am so pleased that you accepted this undertaking. I know that you will moderate this section with poise and grace. As Paul mentioned your posts enrichen our daily intake of all things Rickenbacker and I am sure that anyone who has had the opportunity to meet or talk to you will agree that you immediately make your new friends feel comfortable and at ease.

Thank you for working with us to put this together in an almost effortless and seamless manner.

Gosh, thanks, everybody, but this is the first I've heard of this. What did you say it was, the RRF soft-porn section? Well I'm definitely in for that!

But seriously, folk, I'm just happy to be considered useful around here. My Mom always said you can only be a guest for so long before you gotta start helping out with the dishes, so to speak.

Yes, I'll be the lucky moderator, but I want to send kudos to Robert for his sparking the idea to life in its infant form, and to Brian, Peter, and Gil, for the research, development and leadership that it took to bring it all back home again.
