Clicking on a link..

Post by clearblue »

Can we have a new browser window open when a link is clicked instead of using the same browser window? I have accidently closed the browser countless times instead of hitting the back botton to return to the forum.

I right click and open a new tab, usually.

This is really something that should be done by the user rather than by the site software since there will be just as many people who don't like it as want it. Further, it may work differently depending on what browser people use.

It's pretty simple with most browsers, I know that with both Internet Explorer and Fire Fox, doing a SHIFT+CLICK will open the link in a new window. With Fire Fox, CTRL+CLICK will open the link in a new tab.
I have NO idea what to do with those skinny stringed things... I'm just a bass player...

Thanks. I do know the workarounds but was wondering if it could be made into a CP setting.
