KIA Forte TV Ad Shows Rick Bass

I saw this ad earlier tonight. Look carefully, at about 0:42 there is a band and the bass player appears to be playing a Mapleglo 4000 series bass. You only see the back of it. I swear when I saw this on TV they showed the front as well for an instant, but can't find that version of the ad.

Yeah the TV commercial does show the front.
I thought it looked like a walnut/autumn at first.

Thanks for confirming that there is a front view of the bass. If anyone finds that version of the ad on YouTube, Hulu or some other such site, please post a link.

Okay, the ad just ran on CBS so I went out and looked at our DVD recorder in time slip to pause on the frontal. It is a 4003 as there is a neck pickup.

Maybe! I saw it again on the HD set in the office and it just might be a FG 4001 - I think I saw a skunk stripe, but it happened too fast - didn't register it was on till the music part.

Saw the commercial on TLC tonight (L.A. Ink; yeah, I confess . . . ) and right before the clip was a shot of an iPod in the Kia and it said, "Supersonic Jets - American Girl." So on a hunch, I searched YouTube for Supersonic Jets, and this was the only music video that came up:

But I was able to freeze frame on the commercial (don't you just love DVRs?) and could see clearly that it is a late '70s 4001 (skunk stripe) in Autumnglo (don't you just love hi-def?).
