Very cool, congrats! How would you describe the tonal differences over the standard Tele set up?

I've been toying with the idea of either mod'ing my existing partsacaster or finding one of these myself---I've never had the opportunity to play one.

Well this guitar is sorta like a "Tele +"

It has a 5-way switch

settings are:

1.Neck:full humbucker

2.Neck:split humbucker

3.full humbucker and bridge

4.split humbucker and bridge

5.bridge

The neck pickup is a DH 1 which is the same as the "Atomic Humbucker" I am not sure about the bridge pickup I think it is a regular tele single coil that is wound a little hotter.

I think it is a great guitar because it covers such a wide range of sounds from 50's Rock and Roll to Metal.

It cost $699.It is in near mint condition except the case has a big crack. How would you fix this crack? glue or duct tape?

My best friend has a tele just like the one you saw.I love that guitar!I've been bugging him for 5 year to sell it to me but no dice. That is why I bought this one as soon as I saw it.The shop I bought it at had just taken it in on a trade 20 minutes before I walked in the door.I was lucky because if I hadn't come in just then I am sure it would be gone before I laid eyes on it.Every time I ask them if they have any used teles they either say "nope" or "We just sold one".

Mitch, thanks, I'm really intrigued now. Oh, on the case, I'd probably use some black duct tape, then maybe cover it with a cool sticker.

Congrats again!

I always wanted a tele like this since ever since I saw Keef's

My girlfriend is gonna fix my case for me cause she's a girl who knows what to do with a roll of duct tape.
