Anyone remember Jess Hector or the (Hammersmith)Gorillas?

I used to collect their 45's in the 70's.They were sorta the link between Slade and punk.I haven't seen too much of their stuff turn up on youtube. It's too bad.

This is the 45 that intruduced me to the Jess Hector.I bought this back in early 1977 when I was buying up all the new 45s from England like The Damned,The Sex Pistols,The Clash,The Jam,Generation X,The Vibrators,Ian Dury and the Blockheads,The 101ers,Jilted John,Wreckless even reissues of Stooges records like "I Got A Right".

This record was one of my favorites.I thought Jesse was destined to become the "New Noddy Holder".

Yes but I don't hear it.Is this record like "Louie Louie" where you have to put your ear very close to the speaker to hear what he is really saying?
