What band/artist would you stand in line all night for?

Do people still do that? I remember a few nights on the concrete to make sure I had my ticket to the show.
Okay so theoretically, and if it was the only way to guarantee your seat - which bands/artists would you stand in line outside all night to get a ticket to see?

I can't think of anyone, but I've never done that. The most I've done is get up early for Lollapalooza tix.

Well, I've already done it once for Paul, and I guess I would do it again. Bob Dylan. Maybe Cohen.

Gee.....I don't know. I never really thought about it. I'd go to pretty great lengths I'm certain, to see Roger McGuinn.
Most of the musicians I really wanted to see didn't require extreme measures such as standing in line all night; Bill Monroe, Pete Seeger, Tom Paxton, Charlie Louvin....

Macca and Dylan, but I'd want a very comfy sleeping bag and a supply of fine single-malt to fortify me against the night chills...

I can’t think of anyone I’d stand in line for today. I see Dylan on the 8th of August and McCartney on the 19th. There are others I’d like to see, but they’re dead. Disconcerting.

If only it were a matter of standing in line all night to bring them back, eh? There are a few for whom I would spend a week in the pouring rain ...
Sorry, I digress

back when i was going to concerts the most,i worked at peaches records in memphis,we had a ticket outlet,so i always got great seats without standing in line.....but i WOULD stand in line to purchase yes tickets, mccartney as well. that was such a big component of the early concert days, waiting in those long lines, but i don't really have any nostalgia for that! mostly these days,i wait for the dvd!!

i am going to see van duren 's good question next saturday......at 10pm-1am,pretty late for an oldie like me.....he's worth it.
