Quite gothic looking, like a Mary Shelley signature model. Nice. :D

Yeah Craig---here ya go!

I actually really dig the color/finish. It's pretty similar to the finish I described in the 2010 COY thread, nice! :)

Interesting concept ... HB pickups from a 650, white pickguards and R tailpiece from 620s, checker binding and wide neck from a 660, etc.

If they called it a 666 model, would that have some evil connotation ?

Hmm, I've got to say, the paint job on that one isn't as impressive (to me anyway) as other recent one-offs from RIC...

I don't know, the figuring on the back looks great to me (see last picture in listing).
Can we have everything louder than everything else?

Oh, I agree, the wood is excellent. It's just the color that doesn't look too great to me. Of course that could just be that the color doesn't photograph well, or it could be my monitor color calibration.

To me, it looks sort of amber/brownish in the middle, fading to a bluish black at the edges, not really what I'd call "Aqua marine". Does it look more aqua to other folks? Maybe I need to recalibrate my monitors...

Gothic is a good description.

I guess it depends on your local Aqua Marine (!).

Beaches around here look closer to that brownish green color than bright blue/green. :P

I hope it comes with a certificate of authenticity and Godzilla buys it so he can throw it out, you pathetic collectors.

Yep, I smell a "Witty" ending to this one. Go for it, Craig! This'll be your second 660/12 with humbuckers and "R" tailpiece if you get it, huh? The 660/12 PBR has them, too.

What'll really shock me is if the RIC Outlet finally sells the 360/12CW MG.

That was hilarious, Dave!!
I just wish RIC would call me on these things......they could save all those pesky ebay fees.
Really though, I dont mean to sound arrogant or take anything for granted......but it would
look nice in the collection.

Gee, if I win it, will they deliver it to the Confluence on 8/22?
