Tday is my birthday and it is also the day that 11 years ago,that my girlfriend bought me my Oct '92 Fireglo 4003. I still get the same buzz owning and playing this bass as I did back on this day in 1998,it's amazing how time flies but Ihave enjoyed evey day owning it thanks Julie.

Yes owning this bass gives me a buzz,and a big grin everytime I play it. It was a pipe dream back when I started playing bass back in 1987 to own a Rickenbacker bass,I did'nt think that it would take 11years to own one.And berth how did you know what my girlfriend calls me,minus the word lucky.

I feel that there is something a bit special about the 92 basses, although they look plain there is that extra clarity in the sound and often a very slim neck...
