I am looking at a Craig’s List item that I believe to be a Rickenbacker TR100GT Combo:

The listed address is an antique store, and I bet that they really don’t know much about amps. Before I take a ferry and invest several hours time to check it out, I wondered if you could answer a key question for me:

Is the stereo input on this unit set up so that the reverb (and other effects) play through both channels?

Ethan, can you read a schematic?

If so, then:

From what I can see, stereo plays reverb through both channels (all switching jacks in closed position, routing signal through all effects circuits).

I am now in the process of restoring that TR100 to its sonic glory, and may want to replace the grill cloth, as well.

It seems to be the same as pictured here:

if you scroll down, a silver-grey with orangish-brown weave pattern.

Firstly, does anyone have a feeling pro or con as whether grill cloth replacement affects collection value?

More importantly, do you know of a source for this grill cloth?

Finally, how about the black grill cloth for my two TR25's? (to eliminate two and a half decades of assorted grunge).

Cheers!
