How much is a Tom Petty 12 string worth?

A friend in my band has the opportunity to buy one and I have no clue how much they are worth.

I'd say a Fireglo model with some flame in nice condition with original trappings (yes, COA) should fetch in the $3750 area. Some dealers (Gbase) are offering same at $4999 list and higher.
Jetglo models will generally be worth less (not worthless, however).
