I first saw this photo in ads they run in Vintage Guitar magazine. I wonder who owns it and it's place in line in the series.

I noticed it was a Ric but how can you tell from that angle that it is a CS?
The color?

Creamy color and Vermilion headstock wings. It is redder than walnut.

Also interesting to note are the varying degrees of headstock pitch on the Fender (none), the CS (about 12 degrees) and the Warwick (looks to be 18 degrees or more). I've always liked that Ric basses don't use string retainers like some of the others - it makes for a cleaner looking peghead and more even string-to-string tension. BTW, have you guys priced these cabinets? I would love to have one, but you could buy a nice bass (or two) for the price!

Too few basses, too many guitars!
Was it originally used/intended for gun storage?

Hey there Mark!
I have been in this room. I felt more bass than I've ever felt in my whole life. It is simply amazing.

Yup, we're coming up on the 1 year mark when Jdog stopped by in Nov. last year. While the ricks and m-cycle are cool, the star of the room(cave) is the 1000 watt Epik Conquest dual port 18" subwoofer. I have a demo disc with test tones recorded from the website "Realm of Excursion" that goes from 12hz- 40hz on separate tracks. One track has a slide from 35hz down to 1hz(!), at high volume it sounds like a 747 is landing on the roof- good stuff!

Lots 'o boy toys.... I love it!
Almost forgot - I think that the CS is in the most played location. Right hand, open the door of the cabinet and it is at the reach in and grab position....

Cool man-cave, Mark.
I like the added bonus that you never have to climb stairs to load your amp into your car (or motorcycle?!)

Looks like one of the Sanyo ductless HVAC systems to me.
